The production involved extensive hands-on problem-solving and creative resourcefulness. Five pairs of Doc Martens were used across different actors to convincingly portray a single pair in the advertisement. The nightclub walls were crafted from thrifted fabric and cardboard brick facades, embracing a “more is more” philosophy to layer texture and style throughout the spaces. I personally learned spray-paint techniques to create an 8-foot mural of a Doc Martens boot, customized to match the film’s color palette, ensuring that each set felt fully realized and visually dynamic.

←Logline: A young artist at a thrift store discovers a magical pair of Dr. Martens that connect her to the boots' previous owners.

Walk of Generations — Project Overview
This multi-decade short film spanned numerous characters, locations, and visual styles, presenting complex production challenges. Large-scale props and immersive settings, including murals and nightclubs, were carefully designed and executed to convincingly bring each era to life and make the world feel authentic. I led the team in constructing the nightclub scene in a single morning and coordinated its full teardown the same day, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. The project was a rewarding experience in creative problem-solving, team leadership, and bringing ambitious production design to life under tight constraints.
